The food is excellent and the service is great. The price is good for the amount of food you receive but that is the problem I have. The portions are gigantic. We wonder why people are so fat in America. I would like a third of the food for half the price. That is generous for both sides. Please will you either make smaller portions or have a small portion menu. Thanks

My server was very nice and attentive while I ate. It was forty five minutes to close so the place was not packed at all, quite peaceful in fact. My food came out quickly and very fresh! If you're looking for a low key brunch place to eat at, this is the place to be.

It was a Sunday after church and I understand places are busy... But it did take forever to get a refill on coffee and to bring me a condiment that I had requested....

Great diner! We were passing through and decided to stop here for breakfast. I had French toast and eggs with bacon and my husband had the bacon Benedict- everything was delicious! The bacon was especially tasty. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu and decor was fun and unique. I’d recommend trying this place out for breakfast.

We were a party of 10, and our server was amazing. I don't know how she managed our large group so well, even after we had several special food requests, requested separate checks and asked her to take our picture with 2 different cell phones. And the place was pretty crowded, also. Through it all she was kind, efficient and smiling. And the food was great also. I just found a new favorite place for breakfast!

I’ve really tried liking this place. It’s close to home and the owner is very nice. We normally order take out on the weekends. I stopped ordering from here because it was always wrong but thought I would try again because I love supporting local small business owners. The food would be amazing if my order wasn’t wrong every time. I feel guilty for calling because it happens so frequently and at this point I just ate what they gave me today. When you are paying more than the average price for an omelette.. you should expect not to eat egg shells and everything should be in the omelette you ordered, not missing stuff every time. The yuks are AMAZING so that’s a plus. Again, great food but priced higher and don’t get what you order. The couple of times we have eaten at the restaurant hasn’t been the best but I think that’s because they were short staffed?? The decor is very different as well but to each their own.

Very good food, but the portions are way too big and I didn't see any senior size portions options. Two of us had breakfast and coffee and it was $45 plus tip. For breakfast? The portions could be half that size and half the price and you would still be full. They must go through a lot of product to continue that. Sorry, but $45 for breakfast is crazy.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The service and food went above and beyond are expectations. Chef Lee came out several times to check on us. He is both a great chef and very entertaining. You can tell they really love there customers and what they do. We made reservations for 6 online. When we got there there was a sign saying closed for catering event. So we standing there on our phones yo look for another place. A lady came out and ask if we were the reservation for 6 . We said yes. She said we are all set and ready for you. So they still took us and took care of us while they were still cooking and getting ready for their event. That was special. Cheers yo Lee's team.

Welcome to the charming Sunny Side Up Cafe New Berlin, a delightful breakfast and brunch haven located at 15744 W National Ave, New Berlin, WI. This cozy eatery has quickly earned a reputation for its generous portions, attentive service, and a warm atmosphere that invites you to begin your day on a high note.

As you step into Sunny Side Up, you're greeted by a unique decor that gives the place a playful vibe, enhancing your dining experience. The menu is a treasure trove of classic breakfast offerings with a creative twist, making it a must-visit for anyone craving a hearty morning meal. Whether you're in the mood for fluffy pancakes or a savory breakfast Benedict, the options here are sure to satisfy.

One of the standout features, according to our community of avid diners, is the quality of the food. Janice Johnson raves about the “excellent” dishes, though she suggests that the portions might be a tad overwhelming. Her insight raises an interesting point about portion control—a topic that could enhance the dining experience if addressed. On the flip side, Carrie Pottorff finds comfort in their classic French toast and bacon, praising the delicious flavors and friendly service that makes you feel right at home.

Furthermore, the serenity of Stephanie Girsch's visit—highlighted by quick service and fresh food—paints a picture of a low-key brunch spot that won’t leave you feeling rushed. However, not every experience is void of hiccups; Karen Kirkpatrick’s encounter shows that during busy times, a little patience may be required when it comes to refills and requests.

Yet, it’s the team at Sunny Side Up that truly shines, as showcased by Linda Pelletier's experience with a large group. Despite the complexity of their order, the server managed to keep the service smooth and efficient, ensuring that their meals were nothing short of wonderful. Her narrative exemplifies the kind of dedication and care that the staff offers, making every customer feel valued.

In conclusion, Sunny Side Up Cafe New Berlin is a gem in the breakfast scene. With a menu bursting with flavor and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again. So gather your friends or family, bring your appetite, and indulge in a delicious brunch at this local favorite. Bon appétit!
